Sure. Just 80s worshipping kitsch. All new genres sucks dick and have strong influences from other genres. Metal is the same shit for 35 years now. The fact that metal heads are conservative as fuck and hate development killed it.

I was talking to Schirmer from Destruction last week, and he said "people were saying this 30 years ago," about the death of metal, and we talked a lot about what he termed 'vegan metal,' which I guess is hipster metal. According to him, the largest concern for us right now shouldn't be that heavy metal is 'dead,' but that bombs are going off every few months in Europe.
