I was like 18 when I started listening to him, and since then I have discovered all the shit /mu/ loves thats super respectable like Dan Johnston, Radiohead, Ween, Death Grips etc, but honestly Skrillex is still an incredibly humble and talented artist

This is kind of true. I grew out of his music when recess dropped and was objectively terrible but he is pretty talented as a producer. The problem is that he isn't a very good composer, so none of his stuff will ever be great.
