How does /mu/ feel about DIJ?

good music, but he shouldn't admit he doesn't believe in national socialism if he doesn't and wants to use the symbols. either use the symbols and refuse to answer about ideology or don't use the symbols at all.

cultural appropriation is a myth, and >>64027980 is right
Is this band racist or not? Everything I've read seems to be 50/50 people arguing. I'm sure the same will happen here though
>>64027854
I like them. Their earlier stuff is better though.
>>64027854
Listened to his music so many times I got tired of it. Moved to German romance kind of neofolk long time ago although I still revisit C93 quiet often.
>>64028659
Does it matter
>>64029320
Kind of. Unless you don't mind people perceiving you as a racist.
>>64028659
no, douglas is a cool guy and he just uses nazi stuff as aesthetic or symbolism
>>64029386
>being so insecure
Stop.
>>64028659
Nah. It's just a thematic thing. In a way it's similar to when people say that movies like 12 Years a Slave or Hateful 8 are racist. Just because something is about a sensitive subject like racism, it doesn't mean the people who made it or who act/sing/play it actually believe that.
Plus, the lead singer is gay, so he'd have to be retarded to actually sympathize with those ideologies himself.

You can like someone's music, art or whatever, and still not agree with their beliefs. Just look at Burzum. By that logic, if you like his music then you're instantly a white supremacist who sympathizes with a murderer and arsonist. It's dumb and it doesn't make sense, unless the people who's opinions you're concerned about are high schoolers.
