I would recommending checking other stuff by him. Especially The Futuristic Sounds Of Sun Ra. But also the two live recordings Nothin Is... and Pictures Of Infinity.
Hello
>>64024188
Have you listened to Stupid Dream by Porcupine Tree yet? Considering all the pop on your chart i'd assume you would like that compared to their prog metal years.

I like to think about it as that RYM review said:
>Side A: Welcome to Atlantis! Listen to the music of our people!
>Side B: Fuck, we're sinking! You chose a bad day for visiting us.
It makes it feel pretty atmospheric. although honestly, for years I only liked the title track, Side A grew on me. My tip is to think about it as two different faces of the same work.
If still you don't like it I suggest to revisit it in a a year or two.
>>64030302
Also recommending what he said, and I'll add my personal recommendation of listening to Strange Strings and The Magic City.
>>64030508
You surely have already, but if not, have you listened to Van Der Graaf Generator - Pawn Hearts? I highly recommend it.
>>64030530
I've actually only given H to He a listen, but I do have Pawn Hearts sitting in my library, I should probably give that a listen soon.
>>64024052
how the fuck do people have the patience to listen to that entire kamasi washington album? just listen to john/alice coltrane and pharaoh sanders for the best spiritual jazz that isn't three hours long.
