I just remembered last week I was at this GetDarker bassline showcase and Spooky made a surprise appearance. Spooky has long been one of my favourite grime producers. I'd banged a few lines and sunk about 7 £5 beck's so I was on a level when I caught him in the smoking area after his set.
In the most charming way, I completely fucking sperged out. Could not help myself. Told him he was an inspiration to me and that his music is what got me into grime production, asked him proper deep questions about what DAW he uses and shit like that. I'm still cringing now.
