Track of the Year
personal favorite is the one that sounds like an 80s tv show soundtrack
I wish the whole thing sounded like that but the albums still solid
>>64019474
i wish he would go back to the "flying a spaceship into the sun in slow motion while ascending to heaven" sound
>>64019571
which album are you thinking of
>>64019583
dead cities, red seas & lost ghosts
>>64019474
been afraid to listen to Junk after not liking the first couple singles, but this piqued my interest i have to say. Didn't expect it
You can smell Steve Vai's fretboard-smelling fingers from here
>>64019474
I like how arty French guys tend to draw from (often cheesy) influences that people elsewhere wouldn't go near, like using Steve Vai here. They have a knack for making cheesy untouchable material seem next level fresh.

Like they're only people who would still use a saxophone and make it sound good. Cool French music is still very saxophone-y, at least in spirit.

Favorite album of all time. Run Into Flowers-> In Church -> America is a godtier streak.
it's amazing but the vocals are kinda mediocre
i wouldn't call it track of the year just yet
overproduced
>>64022841
i agree wit this, though the licks are sickkkkk m83 always tends to go over the top
>>64021921
Fuck, I agree with this so hard.
As for junk, my favorite has to be the next track after Go!, Walkaway Blues. Catchy melodies, vocoders, epic drums. Hits all the right spots for me
