Anyone else now unable to listen to normal pop music? Years ago I could appreciate more avant garde works while also still listening to things like the Beatles. Now I try to listen to pop bands like them or pink Floyd and they are just so sonically and lyrically boring. I only feel satisfied when listening to avant garde music or wacky post punk like Devo or Dead Milkmen

Its good, its breaking away from the motion set 100 years ago.
However dont just listen to lyrics, listen to the music too.
I personally blame nursery rythms. I think think theyre a conspiracy to make people comlacent with listening to the same music but with different lyrics ( baba black sheep, twinkle twinkle, etc). This is turn creates a creature willing to do the same task for days on end that is easy to manipulate.
