ITT : old school hip-hop albums that aged badly.
"aged badly" is such a pleb concept
Are there lots of rap albums featuring niggers behind bars?

"pleb" is a pleb concept desu

Are you joking? This album has aged fucking gloriously, in my opinion.
rap ages about as well as dog shit

Do you really find it as enjoyable to listen as ATCQ or Nas debut ?
>anything with skits
>>63931540
Not him, but I enjoy this more than both of those, all great though
>>63931540
Actually, I enjoy it a lot more than the Nas debut. I don't know where I'd rank ATCQ in relation to it, tho.
I think the production on It Takes a Nation... is still fucking great.

Not true.
After a while, dog shit turns white and stops stinking.
>>63931565
But rap albums STILL have skits.
>>63931667
Can confirm, had to pick up the dogshit in the backyard when I was young.
>>63931667

Lifestylez ov da poor and dangerous
These artists just didn't age well.

Are you kidding? The beats still sound fantastic. Chuck and Flav's dynamic still sounds pretty good too.
The lyrical content may have aged a bit, but the other aspects of the album are still exceptional and mindblowing.
>>63931565
36 chambers? still great
>>63931540
Honestly those are more accessible, but a lot of the wall of noise production on Nation still sounds very, very fresh imo
