the funny part about all the hate lobbed at this band is that /mu/ loved them before the mainstream latched onto them, the hate has nothing to do with their sound but how popular they are, it's ridiculous really. The same thing happened with FUN. and Animal Collective (around the time of MPP, after the popularity around that album died down it become ok to like them again)
