I wasn't praising Gilmour tho. just saying Waters doesn't deserve all the merit that so often he gets. He did write great songs since Ummagumma but after Animals it was mostly shit with some good moments in The Wall (I love In The Flesh? and I think it's the greatest album opener they had since Piper, for example)

I love seeing people bang on this album. It shows me what an utter plebeian you are. Lyrically it's a masterpiece. Musically it's a little forced probably because of the issues between Gilmour and Waters at the time. But it's not a bad album. If you don't "get it"you lack some serious empathy.
