That sounds about right to me even though I voted for SC. I know STGSTV is the better album but right now SC is the one I prefer right now just because of the hype and what's going on in my life.

I actually personally think I'm going to continue to like SC more. I've always been a fan of Deakin's sound and I really like how he uses soundscapes and how diverse the sounds are. Who knows though?

I could see this happening for me too. I am kind of afraid that I may be getting swept up in the hype. I will say though, I've been listening to it nonstop the last 3 days so there's a good chance it won't fade on me

Yep, that's exactly where I am. I don't tend to make haste judgements with music but this is the first time I've ever listened to something and have right away considered that it might be a 10/10 to me.
I try to avoid doing this normally because I fear it might be an in the moment thing, but there's something about this album that I just love.

Same, it feels like a 10/10l, but I've been giving it a 9/10 so I don't a) build up to much hype for it because then the backlash will be really strong and b) because I'm afraid in a month I will look back and say that it really isn't that great

It's at like a 9.5/10 for me currently, but as of now it's definitely in my top 10 albums and I have no doubt it'll be my AOTY unless some god sent perfect album comes along (very unlikely).
