Big Quint and Hereliesmusic are the only ones in recent memory to actually get pretty big post-anthony, because they're actually different.

have a unique look, try averting the "reviewer on the right with album upper left" look, because every review looks like that
look at obscure albums that others aren't covering
have an actual understanding of music theory. use this in your reviews, but also state your personal feelings on the album. a mix of analysis and opinion is what makes a good review
if you aren't good at public speaking, write your lines and rehearse them. don't rely on jump-cuts
develop a personality that people can become emotionally invested in. that's what keeps people coming back. your opinions don't matter, this is just another kind of content creation.

Literally just get good audio and uploard regularly. You should try to follow what everyone else is saying within a 2 point margin, but even that is optional. Fantano is shit, but he's diligent, that's literally the only key to his success.
