I can't help but feel like Glitchwave will be a sorta cringe fest. I am excited for it but from what I can tell from working working in the gaming industry and obviously working with primarily gamers it will or the top 100 for that matter will be a sorta cringefest. Almost as much as the top 100 on RYM at the moment (Radiohead number one? cmon nigga)
Music is obviously subjective and we all from what I can tell know this, so when someone rates something low that you enjoy it's probably a subjective taste difference right?
Well from my experience video game especially don't believe video games are subjective and view it pretty much in the opposite - if you don't like this video game then you're a idiot.
Obviously it will benefit RYM as a website to incorporate video games but I really can't help but feel like it will be the lastfm redesign of RYM causing all these cancerous /v/ tier users to swarm in creating a very toxic discussion website and this will obviously without a doubt move slowly into the other two websites.

But i'm genuinly interested in your opinions on the matter. As mentioned having worked closely with gamers for quite a few years now and obviously being one myself I see them as a very objective and snobby subculture (may obviously be the people I worked with) but that said, I am hopeful, I haven't really been interested in video games in the last few years outside of working on them and I do hope this helps breathe new interest into that hobby.
