really? i always felt it was a more Deakin / Avey centric release, with Panda contributing less, probably due to his concentrating on solo stuff

It's the first album where he sings lead on tracks, his percussion is very involved in a lot of the songs, and he brings to the album the same sound he was working with on Person Pitch (Derek is essentially a PP track).

Geo also definitely showed serious development in integrating the samples into the album.

Really, the first four tracks each clearly have a strong emphasis from each member while still showing contribution from the rest of the band.
