What does /mu/ think of Tom Waits, specifically Rain Dogs? I think he took the sound that Captain Beefheart was developing and more or less mastered it

Swordfishtrombones and Rain Dogs are mindblowing. No one could pull off this weird circus atmosphere, tough sailor themes and the deep drunkard demeanor like Waits.
