I really quite like it! Not the biggest fan of black metal but I like what you're going here and I'll probably listen to your release soon! A bit of feedback:
- imho guitars are too much in the back of the tracks and the rhythm guitar is way too low. I would suggest bumping it a little higher on the next release
- what's that strange plucking sound at the beginning of Pulsar? It sounds weird...
But, like I've said, I'm really enjoying what I'm hearing right now. Good job!

Chiptune is an odd production choice and it leaves some songs feeling messy at times. I personally would recommend mixing chiptune with something more analog kinda like the band Crying does.

I do believe it is correct on both ways as per Wikipedia:
Per aspera ad astra or Ad astra per aspera is a Latin phrase which means any of the following: "Through hardships to the stars", "A rough road leads to the stars" or "To the stars through difficulties". The phrase is one of many Latin sayings which use the expression Ad astra.

Yeah man I'd recommend it. I personally like a little bit of drumming with my ambient. or something that mixes well with the Ebb and Flow of the pads, at lot of people just throw on a couple of long notes on FL studio and call it ambient.

all of those have things that aren't traditionally ambient, but I would say all of those are becuase neither of those are grabbing for your attention. If that makes sense. What makes good ambient IMO is sort of creating a world within a song but never making it so any piece of it draws your attention more than another, thus all kind of sitting together, though all of those have a piece that more or less drives them non of them over power the others.

Thanks man! I'm listening to your stuff now. It's very atmospheric and has some interesting bits, but it's very hard to judge any objective merit in ambient and field-recording projects so I can't comment on how remarkable it is. It's certainly got much more variation and craftsmanship than a lot of other ambient stuff I see on here, so I'll give you credit for that! What kind of jazz do you play and on what instrument(s)?

unfortunately, due to my poor software knowledge, (and lack of time desu) i'm afraid working out proper drums will be a nightmare for me.
this does change the substance of the song drastically.
i like to make sounds so warm and "stretched" that it seem to last forever, like a blur. i really need to see how drums would accompany all that and if they wouldn't break the immersion.

Yeah I use FL to program drums it's really easy and simple. You could always get a midi keyboard and input it manually. idk what daw you use but I'm sure you can apply what I said to your daw.

Hey, it's me Resemblance.
Man, now I'm afraid to call it ambient or use field recording as a descriptor of the music. I never realized how prejudged everything is based simply on genre.
I've touched on most types of jazz, but my favorites to play are probably hard bop, modal, stretch music (what some "hip" fucks are calling Christian Scott's music) and a ton of big band stuff (Gerald Wilson, Basie, Duke, Thad Jones, etc). I am only a good musician as a result of being lucky enough to go through a series of incredible public school's jazz bands.
Sadly I will never be in as good of a band as I was in high school, but I was happy to be there at all.

Hey, don't be put off by what I said! There's some good stuff in those genres, but I'm just not as familiar with them as others so I'm less qualified to judge their merit.
And nice jazz choices! I'm classically trained myself, so I'm afraid I don't have much of the intuition needed for jazz or pop/rock/whatever, although I can do stuff by ear and improvise to some extent.
