That's cool and all, but he didn't put any hard numbers. The figure I gave of $1000 per million views was given to me by a guy who works at a youtube production studio. They produce snoop dogg's videos as well as other popular channels. He said that that's roughly what they're paid BEFORE production costs. Since I'm assuming fantano does all of his production alone, he's pocketing most of that money. I did forget about taxes, so depending on what kind of ad rollout plan he chose, he could have made anywhere from 60k-200k (or more). The particulars are hard to find.

Well, you can make assumptions based on the percentages he's given. JD at this point has 110 million views or so. Divided by 1000, that's 110,000 dollars and multiply that .25 and he's gotten a total of 27,500. Like that's fine. It's enough to keep up your operating costs for his equipment and to be able to have some extra cash on the side for bills, but I don't know how someone could live on that alone.

I just don't like his aesthetic of his reviews and how try-hard he tries to sound at times, it honestly makes me cringe. I should have probably said it in a better manner to start but the "memes" overtook me to spew things. I am quite happy with my life, but at times I just don't like seeing him being so discussed here at the top of the catalog and it is hard to ignore at times. For the very few times I do have down time to come here anyway.
