Cool, cool chart. I loved Hissing Fauna and I've been slowly working my way through the rest of of Montreal's catalog. There's so much gold there, it's like a never ending treasure trove. Sunlandic Twins would probably be my second favorite so far.
Check out Regina Spektor's debut album 11:11. It's just her singing, the piano, and/or the upright bass, and it's got a lot of jazzy/darker stuff you don't see on her later albums. I like her pop stuff too, but I learned to play some of them on the piano and they all started sounding the same to me.
The acoustic tracks at the end of It's Blitz are pure gold. Why did YYYs drop off so hard?

eh it depends on whether you find value in the music you listen to being emotionally relatable/whether you're a girl. i like her a lot but it's definitely simple music and i know plenty of people who find it trite. you should probably just listen and decide for yourself.
