Prog/progmetal mostly, although he has softened with age. He used to be a reviewer for a hardrock/metal magazine, and he still sifts through piles of shitty new bands regularly. I must have heard hundreds of obscure promos when I was a kid, which sounds more patrician than it actually was. Likes a lot of neoprog stuff, and acts like Neal Morse and Shadow Gallery.
