I wouldn't classify Alice Cooper as "Hair Metal" In fact, with the possible exception of albums like Killer and Billion Dollar Babies, I wouldn't really consider him metal at all. Proto punk, definitely, and even though the album Killer shares similar traits as early Black Sabbath in many ways, not metal, in my book.
