It doesn't matter what you do. It will suck. It will suck bad. Your mind will race, everyone will play too fast. Your mind will wander. Your stage volumes will be wrong, so no one will be able to hear anything but the drummer and the guitarist who plays too loud. It doesn't matter. You'll get better. Playing live is a skill that's learned from experience and by making mistakes, just like any other. Have fun stinking the joint up and not giving a fuck.

And i somehow got involved because the guitar player sold me, telling i was a good bass player... But i have no live experience, which sucks...

Once my father told me that i should play keys in a cover band gig next week. I have never played live or before other people before that.I have never played keys before, he bought a shitty synth and i practiced for about 2 hours combined and aced the gig. (I just had to hold some chords so it was entry level shit)( I be been playing guitar since about 2008)
Before that he told me that he have 3 weeks to learn how to play drums so he bought a drumkit and i helped him learning that shit.
Then we both aced our first gigs and now we can jam together anytime i get home.
I should be happy as fuck and the whole shit would have meant the world to me a few years ago but honestly i am 25+ and dead inside and I treated the whole process as a job which I cant fail. I mean I have been dreaming about gigging almost for 10 years and after I did it it meant nothing to me. I am really running out of the reasons to live. I have a gf, car, job, hobbies and I still thinking about killing myself sometimes.
