To the person in the last thread, I refreshed and saw your post but the thread was dead. I'm not a cello player at all really, all I did was record single notes, harmonize them, and add inhumane amounts of reverb and decay.

all my albums are fairly different
Trials In The Desert is neo-ambient
Dreadful Trumpets is sound collage
Egyptian Sunset is post vaporwave/some spooky vaporwave
City In The Sky is shit
Untitled is a 150 track album of just all the shitty music I had on my computer
Channeling Solluna is an experimental pop album
Blue Tunnel is a kind of cool trippy instrumental album with some neo ambient/neo progressive but not very good mixing on some of the songs

I really like what you have going here, and you have a very clear and distinct sound. Some of the guitar licks, the ones over top of everything else, felt a little out of time, mostly rushed.
I like the ideas you have, especially the lines going up, but when you play off key try to make it sound more intentional or with more purpose, otherwise it just sounds like a mistake to the listener. 1:46 is the spot I am talking about specifically. You land a half step below a chord tone and just sit on it.
Overall I dig your sound. If you were doing those things intentionally try and make it more clear to the listener.
>>63770202
Hey man, this is absolutely one of my favorite records from last year. You made something beautiful that the rest of us get to enjoy, so thank you for that.
The only thing I wish it had more of was bass, or more of a bottom on it. But maybe that wouldn't sound right with the sound you were creating.
Did you ever experiment with putting a drummer on any of these songs?
Just released this Friday. 2 years in the making and is my main project. (I usually post here as "This Dark Internet") It means a lot to me.

Hey thanks! I really appreciate it
As far as the bass, I feel like I kind of got what I was going for. I definitely know what you mean though, looking back on it from my perspective I think maybe track 2 in particular could've had some. As far as the percussion, it's sort of a hard situation. I definitely have some stuff planned where I'm planning to use drums even though there's not much on the stuff I have out now. I do own an actual drum kit but where I'm living it's too loud to get out and play, let alone figure out how to make a recording sound good with only one mic.
So I'm definitely planning on making some songs with some sort of drumming and percussion regardless though, with digital drums or just tapping my desk or otherwise. Also I'm checking out your track. It's really neat but I'm way too tired to give any half-decent feedback so if I see you on here later I will

...12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:
15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.
18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish.

It's a concept album which deals with bearing the burden of one's conscience and feelings of powerlessness and finding the strength to overcome the weight of depression. dude cut the bullshit out. not sure what you expect with this album but it's mostly an embarrassment. somewhere in the near future people are laughing at your stupid shit and theres nothing you can do about it because it's hard to take things off of spotify, you effectively got a really really bad tattoo.
Tracks 1 and 2 are pretty good. not good enough that someone would ever want to listen to it, but if you can make a different somethign like this every single day for a couple months you'll have a really great portfolio of stuff and a local band would be stupid not to take you on as a lead guitarist role. Stop singing, and stop recording delay pedal stuff. recommended listening "niandra lades and usually just a tshirt"
