With Them is literally the song With That with a muddy, funky beat and Thugga sounding a little tipsy. The entire album is delivered like he got punched in the tongue the night before.

most of the second half of Barter 6 could have been cut desu, but that's possibly just because one can only listen to Thugger's voice for so long before it stops being enjoyable and starts being kind of irritating. it sucks you in with some great songs but as far as full-length projects go I'd say 1017 Thug was much more solid.

Jesus christ dickriding bandwagoners OP is totally correct. I first heard Thug when he dropped I Came From Nothing 3 and have been an avid fan ever since, tracking his progress from 1017 to Black Portland to La Flare to B6 to SS.
This tape is better than Im Up but really lacks the depth and darkness that both other Slime Seasons had. I'm more than willing to bet both Im Up and SS3 were all recorded in the same time frame and were originally gonna be released for free, but at the last minute were split into two and released commercially.
A faggot like Fantano can't even grasp Thugger's nuances but OPs critiques are accurate. The first couple tracks are decent and will bump in the whip but Thug's used the exact same formula but BETTER in so many instances. The last half of the tape edges near boring.
I have a lot of hope for HyTunes. I think he's just trying to bid his time and stack some album sales for now, but I forsee dark production on par with B6 and a continuation of its introspective them with HyTunes. Either way, artists who went mainstream before that Rich Gang single continue to bite on Thug and we continue to talk about him, datpiff and hiphopearly comment sections continue to talk shit on him; his buzz continues to grow. He'd be a fool to let this lull become longterm.
