why does twee-pop make me cry?
>>63756536
It used to me. Then i discovered Black Metal and became a real man.
>>63756536

Sarcasm doesn't translate well on the internet I still see.
>>63756803
please teach me about primal scream, I love the stone roses and want to know what mani did with his life
>>63757545
I don't know too much about them other than Bobby being friends with Alan McGee for a while and he helped run creation. Then Loaded was released, Screamadelica came out and BOOM
>>63757630
ok cool yo
>>63756748
>vlc
so quirky and ulitiarian
>>63756656

Boy. No.

The Field Mice are the only good twee pop band. Their songs actually bring the feels.
>>63757545
If you were a cutie in the 80s you were probably wearing out a copy of Velocity Girl or The Sea Urchin's Pristine Christine.
>>63758343
I disagree but mostly because Bobby Wratten is the best and all of his post-Field Mice bands have been great.
New Lightning in a Twilight Hour EP was just released and it's totally a throwback to The Field Mice harping off of Factory Records album designs and I kinda love it.

>>63758503
Don't forget Another Sunny Day
>>63758550
Of course of course.
Also, the book Popkiss is super cute and I'd recommend it if you want to be persuaded into buying a cheap drum machine and start making amateurish but cute pop music.
Also also, Blueboy are really good too.
>>63758503
fuck yeah. thanks for digging through elfant, i havent seen that album before
>>63758663
I forgot about blueboy, so good so good
the field mice are the reason I got the boss dr660, but i kinda regret it cus its not that great
>>63758785
I think it just came out yesterday. I ordered it a few days ago, haven't really listened to it yet.
I hope you've listened to Lightning in a Twilight Hour's previous EP and album. Annemarie Davis and Michael Hiscock even pop up on it.

Also, Elefant just rereleased Fast Trains and Telegraph Wires so I should get on that as well.

I can't imagine any early twee band having any great equipment. I think that's why they're the best though, they learned to work with their limitations.
