I don't have it with a song right now but with a tv show I think. There was this episode where some dude had hallucinations, and in one of them he was in a business meeting and one girl in a blue sweater started changing the size of her boobs and grabbed him by the neck with her lizard tongue and dragged him accross the table. Popped one of my first little kid boners to that, and developed my fetish for girls with superpowers.
All else I know is later he has a hallucination about suddenly being alone in a room that is actually crowded and that he dies at the end.

Apparently he was in a school fire that killed 15 of his friends and gave him bad burns. He learned the guitar in the hospital. After returning to England, his mental health deteriorated. He went back to the US and came back even worse, horribly depressed from his childhood trauma. His first son died of Cystic Fibrosis. He then moved back in with his parents, where he ran away to New York. He ended up homeless, but was rediscovered by an old fan. His voice was now no longer good for singing, but the fan convinced him to take up music again.
While he was sitting on a park bench, some kids accidentally shot him in the eye with a pellet gun, blinding his left eye.
He recorded some more demos, but they flopped and he ended up even poorer. He died of cardiac arrest in 1999.
So yeah... Feel-good core I guess?
