That album was almost entirely Avey and Geologist. All Deak did was have one song and bring back guitars.

Animal Collective may be a collaborative effort, but it is David "Avey Tare" Portner who leads the show.
Strawberry Jam is easily their best and whenever Avey is up to bat, he gets homeruns.
