Both albums were rather underwhelming for their respective artist, nowhere near as bad as some people are making them out to be.

I really wanted to like Divers but it just doesn't live up to old Joanna. The start of the title track is perfect but then she changes the key like 4 times and it doesn't make sense. Same with most of the songs. Pablo was p terrible t.b.h, just some good tracks. Those are not Yeezy standards.

I agree completely. I even really liked the songs that came out before the album (Sapokanikan and Leaving the City) and there are some other great songs on it, but overall it was just disappointing for me because Ys and HOOM both are pretty high on my list of all time faves.

Have you listened to the new version that came out yesterday? It really makes some of the more underwhelming tracks more listenable and the terrible clipping is gone. It's still not up to Ye's standards, but I do like it a fair bit more than most people here it seems.

Maybe, but I think what happened with Pablo is that he booked MSG some time in advance (I presume you can't just book a venue like MSG a week or two before you need it) and he knew nobody would care if it was just the fashion show without the album. Then the album wasn't really finished but he got pressured into releasing it because everybody heard it already.
But after the first two kinda shitty changes he made I didn't think he was really going to improve it, but there's really not a single change in todays version I dislike. I can actually listen through it all the way now without skipping a song
