I just hope he'll cut the filler eventually and probably maybe even go back to the original playlist. Do people really act like this is good? I like almost of all Kanye's works, but this album is so inconsistent it's crazy.
Certain parts of songs just have random cuts to little parts that don't even fit the song itself, whether it's a lyric or instrumental. If there even is a concept, it's so fractured it blurs.
The worst part is that people praise his laziness, saying it "changes the meaning of albums". He is known for being cohesive, or at least putting a concept into an album. The only thing that this album spells out is that Kanye does not care about music any more. Anybody that thinks so is deluded to an extreme. It's obvious when you look into the lyrics, and find that they are surface-level, and sound like they were written in 5 minutes (FSMH pt.1/2, Highlights, Famous, Wolves, Freestyle 4, Facts.)

Huge Kanye fan. Listened to Yeezus and Twisted Fantasy so much I'm surprised my ears haven't bled from it.
Having said that, TLOP was a huge letdown. Ultralight Beam is fantastic. Famous is really good. Pt2 and Feedback are decent. Everything else has either cringe-worthy lyrics, half-ass written lyrics, unfinished (obviously) production or are just plain bad songs.
If this album wasn't a Kanye album, I wouldn't be so harsh on it, but it's really not that good. Ultralight Beam is the only song that comes even remotely close to Power, New Slaves, Jesus Walks, or All of the Lights.

There's nothing to "get" about the Life of Pablo, we're all mature enough to listen and understand music and fabricate opinions.
There's nothing behind it, nothing to it or at the very least nothing much. It's a messy album that utilizes the random nature of it's
chaotic production as filler (which is most of the album) over the songwriting.

It's a little bit better now. I still see so much more potential in the album. And some changes are questionable. I think it is awesome that he put Vic and Sia back on Wolves... but he added them in such a weird way. The transition from Vic to Sia is especially weird. Fade still sucks as a closer even though he changed it a bit. I still think it should just end with Wolves.
