What is your favorite Bowie era?
>>63705084
Berlin. Is there any other preference? Berlin is his best era and Ziggy is the best record.

Standard RYM drone everyone
>>63705244
He is right though
Ziggy is easily his best record. I don't see how you could really go against that.
>>63705084
Ziggy. Stardust. Nuff said
>>63705084
>>63705258
Star and Hang On To Yourself is mediocre filler. Station to Station is GOAT all the way through. So is Blackstar and ''Heroes''.
>>63705258
That's not Heroes
Ziggy was good but it ain't got shit on Heroes
>>63705294
The second half of Heroes is garbage, and that's coming fro msomeone who loves Eno and his ambient music. It was ill-structured, messy, and lackluster. Sure Heroes, Beauty And The Beast, and Sons of The Silent Age are 10/10, but as an album Ziggy far surpasses it

I disagree, I think they are great songs. STS is his 2nd best for me though, so I wont argue there. Blackstar was great but definitely had parts that paled in comparison to others. I didn't like Sue and Tis a Pity gets old after a while
>>63705244
What's RYM? Why don't people stop being lazy and just write out full things?

Go die!
The first ten years o his career from when he first released Liza Jane up to Young Americans is my favorite period. After The Man Who Fell to Earth, he lost me. Sorry, but I'm not enamored with his Thin White Duke period, his Berlin trilogy, or anything he did in the 80s, or 90s. I don't give a fuck about Low vs Heroes. I don't give a fuck about Station to Station. I know what I like, and I'm sticking to that.
after his bitchass died
'The Man Who Sold the World' - 'Heroes' was his good stuff but my favourite stuff is from 'The Man Who Sold the World' - 'Ziggy Stardust'
>>63708157
In fact his second album was good too
>>63708060
Congratulations.
>>63708180
Most of it was him bitching about a girl.
It was better than the stuff before it but still.
I think he started to become really good with Hunky Dory.
>>63708249
'Unwashed and Somewhat Slightly Dazed' is a great track from the second album and 'All the Madmen' I think is one of his best tracks and is from 'The Man Who Sold the World'
