>Ugh I can't do that...
Why do a lot of people only listen to singles instead of full albums anymore?
because theyre plebs who dont actually like music, they just like catchy tunes and kicks on every beat

Makes sense. It's just sort of annoying.
I mean I shuffle my music sometimes, but I'd say I stick with full albums just as much if not more than I shuffle shit.
I grew up in the 90's when we'd make mix tapes of songs you liked. It's fun to do. Make your own playlist some time.

man I hate that guy, he's so angry and actually whinges more than the "regressive left" he's always on about...and the way he talks is weird.
Isn't that how the record industry really took off in the 30's, with singles? The idea of a single album didn't really come around until the late 50's, and even then it came from the term album, as a physical collection of singles bound together.
Although I agree, nowadays, albums are more pleasing to listen to whole, but that was always the normie approach to listening to music, ever since recorded music was a popular thing (aside from the previous media of shellack albums designed for orchestral or broadway-style musical recordings) this probably isn't a very cohesive explanation but im tired as shit

I hear you. I listen to full albums too. Plebs plebs plebs.

Whenever I get an iTunes gift card as a gift, I tend to lurk on 4chan for random stuff that i've never heard before and burn the songs on a mix CD. I'd rather spend an iTunes gift card on music I've never heard than on an album I like because if I like the album, THEN IM GOING TO BUY THE CD ANYWAYS.

yeah he's honestly an obnoxious twat who sounds like a literal retard
>>63702397
I listen to both it really depends on my mood, but it kinda irks me when people ONLY listen to singles. Listening to a whole album is so fun, as long as it's not shit that is ;)
hip hop/rap is the only genre where not listening to full albums is understandable
