ITT: You help me find music that is made by a man that lives in an abandoned town in Pripyat where the Chernobyl meltdown happened.
I think he could be our new god, maybe some sort of "post nuclear meltdown core". Ill link the video. His name is Yevgen Goncharenko. They only show his music for like 5 seconds but it sounds super droney and eerie and i need to hear it. His part in the video starts at 21:27 and the music is at 21:48. They do not mention much about his music. They dont mention if hes a performer so i dont know if his stuff is even online. But ive been looking for weeks and i cant find it. Any help is appreciated

i want to find this
Damn OP, I wish you the best of luck finding more info.
I'd search right now too but I'm about to go to bed. What little chunk of his music in that video there was, it was pretty delicious.
I googled his name and found a few links, it looks like he may have authored a book and that he posts to some website?

On a side note, that documentary looks pretty old. I was gonna say that the guy may not even be alive anymore, but the recent internet activity with his (purported) name on it suggests otherwise.
If we could find some way to contact him or something, ask about him and his music and suggest he make a bandcamp or soundcloud, that would be pretty neat.

i was thinking this would be a better name for the genre but i dont want to exclude any potential artists maybe some from fukashima or other places with meltdowns

no prob. I write just write this shit (or used to, both those songs are fairly old). not a lot of interest for nuclear disaster inspired music. might help that I was born same year as Chernobyl happened.
