Hard to say. Kendrick is too recent to have had much influence. Kanye is by far more influential on popular culture but Kendrick is more talented and is actually rapping.

Kendrick uses interesting instrumentation. Pretty sure he's consciously decided to flow that way to create tension. It's all in time man. I've been studying drums, guitar and keys for a while now.
