Open Mike Eagle - Dark Comedy
Das Racist - Sit Down Man
Injury Reserve - Live From The Dentist Office
Busdriver - Perfect Hair
it sounds more similar to what he's released under the Scallops Hotel side project, especially Plain Speaking, than anything under the Milo name. In terms of other rappers.... uhhhh... maybe Quasimoto? Maybe Shabazz Palaces? Maybe other artist in Hellfyre club? It sounds pretty unique IMO

Tumblr
for hip hop go open mike eagle and busdriver
for less hip hop you'd probably dig Why? a lot
milo draws a lot of influence from them

just take first year >muh.
That's literally this comment encapsulated
Cavalcade is so under appreciated, up there with So the Flies as milo's best

all I see is daffy duck caught in the storm from the pokemon movie

Love the sample choices on that mixtape

No he's correct. Doesn't detract from Milo's stuff all that much, but it's not quite as deep as it seems. Once the names stop seeming awe-inspiring, it's rather shallow.

People need to stop sleeping on Injury Reserve, LFTDO was a fantastic tape
>>63674755
It's really not, it never purported itself as philosphy, its the life of someone interested in philosophy, and it's generally about his opinion on philosophers, or jokes about them
"I hate Freud because I think he's telling the truth/ I don't need to be told I'm an animal trapped in a booth"
It's shallow if you came into it expecting actual philosophical dialogue or examination, but it's not that at all

Considering they came out of nowhere with their first project, I think they got a pretty big reception, hope its even bigger with the next one
>>63674961
Kinda what I was trying to convey. I like Milo, even if he's goofy and pretentious. He makes good music.
