I haven't listened to all the albums on the chart but the bands I mentioned and others like indian summer and native nod I enjoy a lot more than midwest emo.
However, I have only really gotten into the midwest emo "classics" that are popular outside of this general like mineral, sdre, cap'n jazz, af, etc. I do like mineral a lot though
