It's not an overwhelming comparison which is why I'm asking for a better one. PD does a thing that Slayer does where there'll be breakneck pace riffage for awhile and then one of those short, horse-whinny like solo riffs then back to riffage. But you could say that about a lot of bands.

there's this guy I know that stores all his wood waste for the year in a huge pile and then at the end of october he invites a pyrotechnics club to come have a shoot at his farm and at the end of the shoot they light the bonfire. that thing is the size of a small house and all the fireworks waste is dumped in it so occasionally you get a tube going off at the crowd. it's the best bonfire I've ever seen
