It kind of feels a bit too self-conscious, self-righteous, calculated, up it's own ass or something to really be truly affecting. I can't really explain it. Maybe its the whole crescendo thing. But on the whole I think it's great music with interesting instrumentation and some amazing passages. Static and Sleep are the tracks that have stuck with me.
