Anyone know any good indie electronica / indietronika like pic related?
Something I can play for the masses but get nudges from the indiebros and winks from the hipchix. Like LCD Soundsystem, maybe a little less top of the charts.
try One Life Crew

Yeah but check out Dan Deacon, Deakin (of annimal collective) named himself after Dan.

That's In Colour by Jaime xx, which I think is really really good but I bet a bunch of /mu/tards are going to call me a pleb for thinking that.

pleb (you were asking for it m8)
As for the album it was largely hit or miss with me. Many top bangers, but also some really ehh-tier dance songs.

>Deakin (of annimal collective) named himself after Dan.
Are you sure? Because Deakin started working with Panda Bear in 1991, when Dan Deacon was ten years old. Anco's first album came out like four years before Deacon started releasing music. Source pls.

Thanks, I will find on YouTube and take my own conclusions. It'll not be the first album I listen because of the cover art tbqh.

>Yeah but check out Dan Deacon, Deakin (of annimal collective) named himself after Dan.
This is inaccurate.
Deakin used to go under "Deacon" because he would sign letters as Conrad Deacon, but changed to "Deakin" because he was friends with Dan Deacon and didn't want to get confused.
Dan is very good though.
