The one thing I respect about fantano is that he gives you his honest opinion, with detailed justification. Sure, it's retarded a lot of the time, and he doesn't understand a lot of the appeal of black music, but at least he's genuine.
But by and large, internet reviews are a severely cancerous and flawed system, and pitchfork is the best example of that.

Haven't listened to it. Hope it's that good. I like The Earth is Not A Cold Dead Place a lot but judging from the singles it sounds like this album will be less "crescendo-core".
Kinda pisses me off when we get a pitchfork review when the album isn't out yet, there's no release date in the review, and there's no "you will be able to listen to the full album on Spotify/Bandcamp/etc."
