Thread topic: Been contemplating whether it is inherently bad to enjoy vaporwave, as many artists don't do too much to the source tracks. Is the hard beats and A E S T H E T I C enough for it to warrant listens, or is it having a negative impact in the world of sample-based music? Should more transformative vaporwave be excused from this? Discuss!

Different poster. The opening song was cool and all, but I can listen to identical stuff that isn't just samples of Windows and Mac os. It kind of reminds me of a more tolerable, albeit the same as when bombs away or other meme djs take an 'OMG HILARIOUS SAMPLE, FRANK WALKER OR FSMILY GUY LAUGH' and turn it into a song and post it on their fb page.

Its so different from everything else. He never has more than 1 or 2 actual standard vaporwave tracks on an album, the rest is just weird sample based stuff. Its like Progressive Vaporwave.
