I agree with >>63653768, the whistles are an interesting. The way that the guitar is not quite in sync with the percussion kinda throws me off, but I don't know whether it was done on purpose. I guess it sorta works with the quirkiness you've got going on...
>>63654554
I really like the ambiance. The crackle and warping can feel a bit gimmicky at times, but I guess it works. The bass in "thieves" is very TGP.2.
>>63655277
Glad you're trying out irregular time signatures and more chromaticism, but please please please get real instruments and use chords that aren't I IV or V. Only then will your project gain credibility.

Not quite sure what to make of this...Your tags are certainly accurate! I'm not quite sure what you're trying to get across here... It just seems a bit aimless and messy.
>>63655425
At first I thought it was just another glitchy noise project... but then the beat dropped. I dig this in a weird way. The bass is subtle but heavy, the glitch provides good texture.
This project is understated, but that works very well. I didn't even mind the vaporwave bits because they were complemented by the beat and were interestingly manipulated enough. Recc for you!

Recorded mostly throughout 2014 and 2015, this is a compilation of demos of songs which will eventually end up on my second record "Homoti" later this year in much better, complete finished form.
Partly recorded on various cassette tapes (pre-recorded and blank) on a boombox in various shitty group homes in Ontario, and partly recorded at home on a laptop and cassette recorders, this is just a very long foray into my creative mind and how I love hearing and creating music. Almost cluttered but still cohesive and listenable at over 90 minutes, here is Homoti Demos 1991.

I'm another artist in this thread. I'm a big fan of Cav Brew and Shaun Hathaway, but I only listened to that release once and I don't plan on it listening to it again, as good and accurate as it was. My discography up until the winter of last year was one convoluted suicide note. To most everyone it was just pretty music, but if you explain the ideas behind them, it spelled out some pretty dark things. There was one person who I used to be friends with that figured it out and told me to go get help before anything bad happened. I didn't go get help until I had already tried once. It's the darkest place I had ever been in my life and I don't want to go back.

>>63661243
Hey man, thanks a lot! I'm glad you dig it!
Your stuff is interesting: it's not often you hear an accordion in rock music (although I guess your stuff is more folky so it's more to be expected). Your voice is also very nice, especially in the upper register. Overall though, it's not my thing, unfortunately. The lo-fi doesn't have that satisfying tape feel and the accordion playing isn't brilliant. I like the fuzzy bass on the second track though!
>>63656963
I used the iPhone voice memo app and Audacity to make my EP, but now I've got Ableton and my friend should be giving me back my proper recording device.
>>63662964
Oh, and I forgot to say, my favourite moment on the album is when you laugh and count in 1,2,3,4 on the second track. You have a charming voice and it shows you're having fun! Plus it leads into that heavy bass. Have you considered having percussion? Percussion coul have worked really well here!

Nice, I like the singers voice. Is that you singing anon? You should invest some money in a good condenser microphone, although I do like the fuzziness on the second track, and I suppose if the lo-fi thing is what you like than don't let me stop you. What is that fuzzy instrument playing the basslines?
Okay here are some bands I like to listen to on bandcamp...
https://spermdonor.bandcamp.com/ Weird noisy punk rock with crazy time signatures and quietly mixed scream vocals.
https://aaronmaine.bandcamp.com/album/the-sad-album Emotional rock and roll. But its not emo though.
