What are you talking about? It's great.

The people i know who dislike this album it's because it has no samples and no field recordings. Me personally i enjoy it much more than Lift Your Skinny Fists.

I think it's brilliant lo-fi post-rock with fantastic crescendoes. My only real complaint is that, compared to a lot of other Godspeed releases, there is much less sonic variety and some of the build-ups can feel a bit long and overly masturbatory.

Really though, Motherfucker=Redeemer is GOAT and this album is a solid 8/10.

It's their best album though, I guess the people who don't like it either have no patience and/or need vocal samples to stay engaged.

And despite that it has their best vocal sample track they've ever done, George Bush Cut Up While Talking, but it's only on the LP.

It's an amazing album. All GY!BE is great actually.
