Nice sounds from this, liked True quite a bit with its dreamy atmosphere and the cool textures.
>>63629721
Crystal is a great track, really moves along with some nice crunchy riffs and I can hear a bit of Joy Division in there.
>>63630930
I think you have some great ideas, your guitar work is interesting and you have a clear idea of what kind of atmosphere you want to create in your songs. I think the production is letting your performance down, especially when you turn on the distortion. It sounds a bit tinny and where I expect this wall of sound, it sounds subdued and that affects the impact of the track quite a lot.
>>63630948

I find this quite good but honestly it's just tiny bit generic in it's own right. I believe that drums should have a heavier kick to them and bass should be less muddier. And it's sad to see that you create nice riffs and compositions overall but they fall flat mostly because of the generic-ness. But my ears may deceive me
>>63631164
And I LOOOOOOVE this! Missed you there
This is very old but I think the best collection I've put together. Progress has been at a standstill for a long time. Recorded entirely with a cellphone, so very lo-fi of course, but I'm happy with it.

I don't like the first track, but I like the second one.
Overall, it just seems to be another harsh noise project. It's very difficult to make original or outstanding harsh noise. It's not the harshest noise I've heard, but I still wouldn't listen to it of my own volition.
>>63631498
How to improve your project tenfold:
1) Use proper instruments
2) Use chords that aren't I, IV or V
>>63631750
This is nice and comfy. I like how there are quiet guitar noodles going on in the background, and the vocal harmonies with the "oooooh" work well.
>>63632066
I've given feedback before on this. A bit too safe for my tastes, but there are some interesting bits which sound a bit Radioheady, especially in the middle of Spanish Kid.
>>63632829
Some nice chill post-rock, perhaps a bit too lacking in energy for me. The piano sound also puts me off somewhat as it's too electronic.

>>63636976
It's a soundcloud link but I'll give feedback anyways I guess. Try posting soundcloud stuff in the soundcloud thread next time. What you've got going has the potential to be really interesting and appealing, especially on songs like button. But the production just sounds really dry and empty. It's like you just grabbed a bunch of presets in Ableton and made your songs with them. This is especially obvious on card, which had a piano part that was stiff and midi sequenced with what sounds like the grand piano preset in Ableton. Now there's nothing wrong with using presets, I use them all the time. But it's knowing when to use them and knowing how to use an effects chain that really puts life into them. Again, loved the song Button, just work on your production. Not trying to be rude, I just want to give you honest feedback.

Chilled out and lonely musician walks home after meaningless half empty shows populated with scensters and girls he can't talk to, it's 1AM, his mind wanders over it all.
Recorded mostly throughout 2014 and 2015, this is a compilation of demos of songs which will eventually end up on my second record "Homoti" later this year in much better, complete finished form.
Partly recorded on various cassette tapes (pre-recorded and blank) on a boombox in various shitty group homes in Ontario, and partly recorded at home on a laptop and cassette recorders, this is just a very long foray into my creative mind and how I love hearing and creating music. Almost cluttered but still cohesive and listenable at over 90 minutes, here is Homoti Demos 1991.

your shit is too chill, too clean, too steady. can't you get some beefier sounds? Centrum is better than Full Stop because it kind of hits a "next level" in the final quarter, but honestly the production is boring.
>>63640472
what I'm complaining about is the sterile recording quality. there's no problem with the songs themselves, it's just the recordings are boring.
>>63634500
Me and my friend were jamming one day, and I was doing some punkish riffs on guitar, and he grabbed the mic and started beatboxing over it.
We accidentally recorded it, and when he sent me the recording for my main project (a folk-punk/garage rock album) that was at the end. I loved it so much, I pulled it into audacity, made about 5 different tracks with it, distorted it heavily with amplification, leveling, reverb, tempo changes, and changing the pitch. The loud bassy sound is my friend's beatboxing.
Then I skyped my friend and told him to come up with a rap for it. He sent me that, and I added a lower track of his voice, and a very high track of his voice, along with his regular voice.
