It's the best indie rock album of the 2010s, whatever that says about it.

Better than painted shut so I'm not really sure why they broke out just this past year but whatever.

It's because Painted Shut is more standard indie rock and has more poppy song structures
I really dig the shifting songs on Get Disowned
Diamond Mine and Laments are the best songs.

It hasn't clicked with me, but I understand why everyone I know who's heard it loves it - it's a fresh sound (as far as indie rock is considered).
