Solid 8.5-9/10, Isaac Hayes is a fucking god
Funk, soul, and R&B are criminally underrated on /mu/ and it makes me sad
Those early Hayes albums are great but he's really only got one move. Funky orchestral soul in a jam that probably goes on too long. Good stuff but you only need one record.

I love this album too, I got turned on to Issac Hayes Cause of MF DOOM, he samples the beginning of Walk on by in a song.
It's really cool, the arrangements are beautiful and the music so soulful that a 12 minute song ends up being too short.
