I like to walk alone around the city at night
What is some good music to listen to while doing so? So far I have William Basinki, Burial, Duster and Tom Waits
any suggestions welcome

>Interpol - Turn on the Bright Lights
>Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works 85-92
>Alien Sex Fiend - Acid Bath
>Bauhaus - Burning From the Inside
>Have a Nice Life - The Unnatural World
I think these would be good for walking around a city at night, maybe I'll try it too.
Tortoise - s/t
Charles Curtis - Ultra White Violet Light
Drive sountrack
Deepchord presents Echospace - Liumin
First part is field recordings with dub music. Second part is pure field recordings from Tokyo.

Stay safe on your walks, OP.
I think the right music for this should be melancholy, brisk and atmospheric. Burial is a great choice, Duster is not. I would recc Emancipator, Portishead and Killamanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble

All trip-hop ever made.
Thanks for all the suggestions, some of them I knew just didn't think of and some are new but still really great.

I'm a depressed loner so I don't really give a fuck but it's a pretty chill neighborhood so I doubt I'd run into anyone/anything dangerous. Thanks for your concern though.

i really like doing this too
you can never really go wrong with the smiths - s/t and hatful of hollow
if the smiths aren't your thing, listen to nice jazz
jazz is perfect for walking around at night especially jazz piano, so check out some thelonious monk albums (it's monk's time is my favourite)
also round about midnight by miles davis is great
I prefer night driving personally, but I live nowhere near a city so it's much easier to do.
I like to do that too. This is a favorite.
Julia Holter is really good for this. Also Thelonious Monk and Loren Connors.
