This whole album sounds like the raps were written and performed separately, even intended to give a certain emotion that is totally buried under the 70's style beats. Makes the songs sound passionless, distracts from what's trying to be said, has no cohesion. The beats pay no regard for the melody that's coming out through the rapping. A song's individual parts should generally work together and this feels like one thing slapped onto another just to be different.
