Can anyone tell me whats happening at 2:09 with the drums?
There is a ride and crash cymbal you hear going "crash tap tap crash tap tap crash tap tap crash tap tap"
but at the same time you have snare and toms
I've tried playing all this at once and its doable but its extremely awkward and abnormal (from what I'm used to) and I'm just wondering if I'm missing something. Youre basically playing all snare/toms with left hand and ride/crash with right but you'd normally be using two hands for the tom falls but you cant because... the ride/crashes....
or is the 'ride' i hear actually hithat claps? is this part played twice and overlayed in the studio? theres no video so i cant see what the real guy's doin, and no one has covered it cleanly.

all i know is is i hear 3 toms and a snare, 4 16ths in a row, and ride taps at the same beat, which means both hands are in use and one hand is hitting 3 different drums over 4 16ths notes and its awkward
