since joining /mu/, have you found an appreciation for girly pop music?
i find that there is nothing better than smoking a joint and listening to some selena gomez or britney spears or cassandra chillton - i used to only like indie music, but mu taught me to appreciate this simple pop music
i say a lot of things about appreciating the song's production if i'm ever called out fro listening to girl music

Theres tons of good girly pop dont listen to obvious lowest common deniminator corporate money grabs. Or listen to whatever you want. Try listening to some power pop. The lyrics are relatable, well to me. I dont know i love girly pop but tgose artists you named make me want to puke, but then again i hate anything that strikes me as inauthentic expression
i prefer Japanese pop music. At least I don't have to understand the words.

well you need to know that before /mu/ I was an uneducated contrarian trollkid, I said the beatles were mediocre at best because everyone said they were good. but the only thing I ever listened from them back then was Yellow Submarine lmao
well, then; the /mu/core chart had The Beatles mentioned 4 three times (Abbey Road, MMT, Pepper's, Revolver), so I had to check all those albums out in order to get actual opinions. And when I did I stumbled upon a lot of, not only great songs, but great albums as a whole.
