seriously dude I swear to god thats what happened
they didnt make those first two eps with the intention of making eps. They had full studio sessions but whittled them down and I insist they were still in that mode of whitling but they couldnt do it a third time in a row at least not with maintaining some dignity. so they went ahead and released their first and worst full length. after this they got their shit together and figured out how to actually make a fucking album.
