ITT: musicians that are 0% original
post-rock era swans. savage republic were doing it in the late 80s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtbkFu6PuZU

>>63456552

>>63456702

>>63456702
Disturbed - Indestructible
>>63456755
even that isnt true
Why does everyone dick ride DG on this board?
>>63456178
Yes.
>>63456243
No.
>>63456385
idk.
>>63456472
Yes.
>>63456497
Who
>>63456557
No.
>>63456842
Lauren's face isn't even original. Straight ripoff and she's just trying to be edgy with that look
>>63457722
you're the underage here, since you don't know the meaning of this word
>>63457722
still haven't shown me another album like it :^)
>>63456702
Yeezus
>>63456243
this kicks ass thanks anon
>>63456385
incorrect. there is absolutely nothing that sounds remotely like niggas on the moon
>>63456178
All of them.
No one is original.
>>63456178
Wrong, David Bowie was the first musician to mix soul with krautrock.
>>63458209
Worst bait of the day. Yeezus is a ripoff of The Money Store.
>>63458649
yeezus was more of a ripoff of nldw. on sight is almost identical to come up and get me.
>>63456842
This is true. Chvrches are just a lame rehash of 80s synthpop.
>>63458209
I know this is just a shitpost but I still feel the need to point out that Death Grips had put out two studio albums and a mixtape long before Yeezus came out.
>>63456243
There are definitely similarities but post-rock era Swans are far more grandiose than this. Plus The Seer has more of a folk influence than this and To Be Kind has more of a blues influence than this.
Really, no one has posted Oasis yet?

>hasn't to Low or Station to Station
>>63456385
>hasn't listen to most of their albums
>>63456178
He mixed together genres that had never been mixed before.
>>63456243
Post-rock era Swans have more instrumentation and a wider range of influences. My Father Will Guide Me up a Rope to the Sky and The Seer were highly influenced by folk, To Be Kind was highly influenced by blues and funk.
>>63456385
Niggas on the Moon is an incredibly original album.
>>63456472
True but they made some great music.
>>63456842
>>63458942
The biggest examples of unoriginality in this thread. Both of them are pretty much nostalgia acts that don't bring anything new or daring to the table.
>>63456178
Scary Monsters was fairly original, I thought
>>63456385
As shit as they are, no one can call them unoriginal.
Kanye West
>>63458942
Generally people like to post artists people actually like in this thread to anger people and garner responses. Posting an artist everyone and their dog agrees is unoriginal is kind of pointless.
>>63458942
They're objectively unoriginal but I'll always like their first two studio albums.

I have a friend who is a huge Bowie fan, so much so that he actually cried when Bowie died.
Now just a few months before Bowie bites the dust I am smoking a doob with my mate who is talking about how much he loves Bowie and how great he is. He gets a laptop and finds a clip on Youtube to show me his favorite thing Bowie ever did.
This is it:

Now skip forward a few weeks and I see this scene from a different movie:

Literal proof he is unoriginal. I don't care if he "mixed" genres. It's really not that hard to mix things in a bowl. I would have been impressed had he invented a genre.
REM
totally serious answer
>>63461545
this bait is pure fucking gold
>>63461545
